AirBorne currently makes nine trike models and four wings -- all two-seat, SLSA compliant and FAA register-able. In addition, the XT models are now available as ELSA kits. Assuming interest AirBorne will make the EdgeX models available as ELSA kits in the future. Wings and trikes can be paired to each other depending on the type of flying you intend to do.
Trikes: - Edge XT Series (Rotax 582 & 912 powered)
- Edge X Series (Rotax 503 & 582 powered)
Wings: The Wizard wing is AirBorne's high lift wing used for slower flying and taking off of and landing on short fields. This wing is approved for the Edge X series of trikes (Redback, Outback, and Classic). It is not approved for use on the XT series. The Merlin wing is AirBorne's newest and combines the high lift low speed of the Wizard with the superior turbulence handling characteristics of the Cruze. This Merlin will be AirBorne's premier hang-gliding tow wing. This wing is approved for use on the XT series of trikes. The Cruze wing is a mid-range wing and an excellent compromise between the slow takeoff/landing speed of the Wizard and the faster cross-country capabilities of the Streak wing. This wing is approved for the XT Series of trikes. The Streak wing is the touring wing. It is almost twice as fast as the Wizard and comes standard on AirBorne's high end trike -- the XT-912. The Streak-2b version is approved for use on the X series Classic and Outback. The Streak-3 version is approved for the XT series 912 powered trikes only.

-
- The XT-912 Tourer is the Porsche of trikes. Unlike other 912 powered trikes the XT was built from the ground up around the powerful, reliable, fuel-efficient, 4-stroke Rotax 912 engine. While it may resemble the Classic a closer inspection will show that this is an all new airplane. The XT-912 has a much beefier suspension, lower center of gravity, and larger fuel supply. Even the Streak wing that comes as standard with the XT S-912 trike has been uniquely configured for this cross-country stallion. Or go for the Cruze or Merlin (new in 2008) wings for a slower, more relaxed ride. Either way you are flying in style.
Yes the 912 is priced higher than its 2-stroke cousins but it has been shown to be a more economical trike over its service life (1500 hour TBO versus 300 for the 2-strokes). For those of you who like to fly a LOT (like those of you who instruct), fly fast, and are looking for the reliability and performance of a 4-stroke, this is your airplane. Can't afford a 912? Not to worry. AirBorne also delivers the XT-582 Tourer. This has all the features of the XT-912 Tourer but comes with the Rotax 65hp 582 water-cooled 2-stroke engine with all the engine options included (extra quiet mufflers and prop, oil injection, electric start, etc.). This aircarft comes standard with the Cruze wing. So, you can have the advantages of an XT-912 Tourer without paying the 4-stroke price.

| - XT Tundra (new in 2008)
-
- The XT Tundra is just like the XT Tourer but with big, fat, off-field tires. What to go cross country with the extra protection a full fairing provides while routinely landing on grass or unimproved airfields? Then the XT Tundra is for you.
Like the XT Tourer the Tundra comes in two engine flavors: 912 4-stroke or 582 2-stroke. For more information download the brochures by clicking on the links below.

| - XT Outback (new in 2007)
Check out this ATV on a wing. This is AirBorne’s new XT Outback. AirBorne has taken the advanced XT model, removed the pod, added fat off-field tires, and ramped up the fun factor – this is Australia’s “wild thing.”
The XT Outback is available with either the Rotax 912 4-stroke or the 582 water-cooled two stroke. Both versions are fully S-LSA compliant. The XT Outback mated to the new for 2008 Merlin wing and with the optional tow package makes an outstanding hang-glider tow plane.
If this or one of the other XT aircraft is for you then now is the time to order yours. Or you can buy the brand new XT-912 Outback we keep in stock (N135PW).

| - Edge X Classic
-
- The Classic is a fully faired Outback. It is amazing how much protection the fairing provides for both pilot and passenger.
-
- Like the Outback the Classic comes with the Wizard but can be upgraded to either the CRUZ or the Streak wing (the Classic-C or Classic-S respectively). Buy two wings and you have two different airplanes for a little more than the price of one -- a low and slow plane for sight-seeing and a cross country cruiser.
